Temperature-controlled storage

Temperature-controlled warehouse services for sensitive cargo

Interwf offers reliable, scalable temperature-controlled warehousing for cargo that requires strict environmental handling. From pharmaceuticals to perishable foods, we protect the integrity of sensitive products at every stage of the supply chain, with compliance, traceability and consistent quality.

Our facilities are equipped with zoned environments: ambient (15–25 °C), chilled (2–8 °C) and frozen (-20 °C or lower) sections, and some facilities also support ultra-low temperatures on request. You store different product types under optimal conditions, all within a single warehouse footprint.

Continuous monitoring with calibrated sensors and automated alerts detects any deviation, and every pallet entering or leaving our temperature-controlled warehouse is scanned and logged. You know where your product is, what conditions it has experienced and who handled it, end to end.

FAQ

Temperature-controlled warehousing, answered

What logistics managers ask before moving sensitive cargo into our zoned facilities.
Ask us directly
or call +1 (646) 722-0968

What temperature ranges can your warehouse maintain?

+
We offer ambient (15–25 °C), chilled (2–8 °C) and frozen (-20 °C or below) storage zones. Some facilities also support ultra-low temperatures on request. In Fahrenheit, those ranges are 59 to 77 F ambient, 36 to 46 F chilled and -4 F or colder frozen.

How do I know my cargo is kept at the right temperature?

+
Our real-time monitoring systems provide digital logs, alerts and audit trails. You can access temperature reports by SKU, lot or shipment. Door event logs and calibrated sensors record every deviation, and each pallet entering or leaving is scanned and logged, giving a chain of custody under GDP and FDA standards.

What industries require temperature-controlled warehousing?

+
Pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, cosmetics, chemicals and high-sensitivity electronics are the most common. We serve both regulated and non-regulated cargo. Pharmaceuticals are handled under GDP and FDA standards and food under FDA and USDA compliance, with each product stored in the zone it needs: ambient, chilled or frozen.

Can I integrate your services with my ERP or WMS?

+
Yes. We offer API or EDI integrations with most major ERP and WMS systems for seamless inventory visibility and tracking. Typical EDI messages include the 940 warehouse shipping order, the 945 warehouse shipping advice and the 856 advance ship notice.

Do you offer transportation with temperature control as well?

+
Yes. We provide refrigerated and frozen transport options for domestic and international shipments, including last-mile delivery within specific temperature ranges. A reefer trailer carries its own refrigeration unit set to the product's range, and the warehouse zone and the trailer setpoint should match at loading.

What happens to my cargo during a power outage?

+
All temperature zones are protected by backup generators and real-time alerts, so outages or system failures do not interrupt temperature control. A zone excursion triggers an automated alert, and the event is recorded in the temperature log used for GDP audit trails.

Where are your temperature-controlled warehouses?

+
We operate temperature-controlled facilities in key logistics hubs, including Miami, Los Angeles, New Jersey and Dallas, for short lead times and regional coverage. Our warehouses support fast, reliable fulfillment whether you ship internationally by sea or air or manage domestic distribution. Miami serves Latin America and Caribbean trade, Los Angeles transpacific cargo, and New Jersey and Dallas the Northeast and South-Central U.S.
