How long does it take to ship from Miami to the Caribbean?+
Transit times vary by island and mode: ocean shipments typically take 5–10 days; air freight can be 1–3 days door to door. Our location next to PortMiami and Miami International Airport (MIA) gives access to frequent sailings and flights to the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Jamaica, among other islands.
What types of goods can I send to the Caribbean?+
We handle everything from consumer goods and perishables to machinery and hazardous materials (with proper documentation). Dangerous goods are declared under IMDG (ocean) or IATA DGR (air) rules, and RoRo service is available for vehicles and rolling cargo.
Do you offer consolidated LCL shipments?+
Yes. Consolidation lets you share space and cost, ideal for smaller orders. LCL is priced per cubic meter, and a 20-ft container holds about 33 m3 (1,170 cu ft) internally, which is the point where a full container starts to compete.
Can you pick up cargo from my location in the US?+
Absolutely. We arrange domestic pickup and drayage to our Miami facility. Cargo is collected from any US state and consolidated at our Miami warehouse, where cross-docking, bonded zones and per-pallet storage are available before export.
Do you help with customs clearance in the destination country?+
Yes, we manage import declarations, duties, and any local requirements. Each island has its own authority and system, such as Jamaica Customs Agency on ASYCUDA World or the Hacienda declaration in SURI for Puerto Rico, and our team coordinates the filings with licensed local brokers.
