Used clothes consolidation from USA to Guatemala

Interworld Freight operates a specialized consolidation program for used clothing shipments from the United States to Guatemala. From our Miami hub, we manage weekly LCL consolidations and full FCL movements (20’, 40’, and 40HC), offering complete control over documentation, handling, and export compliance. Each shipment is processed under HS 6309 and includes AES filing and coordination with the consignee’s customs broker at destination.

How pricing works

Rates are determined by multiple factors: shipping mode (LCL or FCL), number of bales, total weight, grades, and any additional handling at origin such as sorting, re-baling, or labeling. Pricing also considers the documentation scope and any destination services required.
We provide clear, all-inclusive quotations covering ocean freight, origin services, and optional destination handling to simplify cost visibility and decision-making.

Process

Our process is designed to provide visibility and control at every stage:

  1. Onboarding and compliance review: we validate labels, documentation, and HS 6309 classification.

  2. Receiving and inspection: each bale is identified, counted, and weighed, with re-baling or labeling performed when required.

  3. Consolidation and load plan: we prepare optimized LCL or FCL load maps, assign seals, and document the process with photos.

  4. Export filing and ocean move: AES filing is completed before departure, and the shipment moves to Puerto Quetzal or Santo Tomás under full visibility.

  5. Destination coordination: we liaise with your customs broker and arrange delivery or handoff as per your instructions.
